The astounding growth of RVS Educational Trust has brought under its fold a plethora of educational institutions ranging from schools to higher educational institutions. The Trust runs a Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Arts and Science College, Management Studies and Research Institute, Para medical institute comprising of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy & Ayurveda College at Sulur campus, a suburb of Coimbatore cosmopolitan city. An RVS multispecialty 150 bedded hospital on the Sulur highway caters to the modern medical needs of the people residing in and around Sulur, besides imparting training to the students of health care educational units under the Trust.
The Trust also runs RVS Engineering College, Polytechnic, Management Institute, Industrial Training Institute and College of Education at Dindugal and Bhakthavatsalam Vidyastram central board school and a Women’s College at Korattur, Chennai. The Trust also has established an Arts and Science College, College of Education, and a Teacher Training Institute at Karaikal.

RVS College of Arts and Science is affiliated to Bharathiar University offering career-oriented educational services leading to graduation, post graduation and research degrees in Arts and Science disciplines. The college has been granted autonomous status by UGC and for the students admitted from the academic year 2004-05 courses have been framed independently under autonomous system, reflecting the demands and relevance of the current youth generation. The design and development of the curriculum are carried-out by the respective departments of the college. The degrees are conferred by the Bharathiar University. The college to constantly upgrade the faculty and facilities to meet the growing demands of Humanities, Science and Technology. This commitment is reflected in the credential received by the college through the award of B++ status by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council established by UGC. Moreover to promote systematic quality in all spheres of college activity, ISO 9001:2000 certification is in vogue. Recently Bharathiar University has rated RVSCAS as the first college with maximum strength of foreign students among the colleges under the domain of Bharathiar University. To be precise RVSCAS has adequate amenities and proper potentialities, to mould academically alert, morally sound, spiritually skilled and socially committed students.

The college has the presence of a large centralized fully computerized modern library, equipped with internet, barcode and OPAC (Online public access catalogue) facilities.
State-of-the-art modern laboratories, equipped with adequate infrastructure, gadgets, tools and relevant requirements are available in the campus to facilitate practical learning.
There is a large Auditorium, an air conditional seminar hall and a hall known as V.M.hall besides a seminar hall, and a conference hall located in the MBA department.
True to the fact that play grounds are an integral part of educational institutions RVS College of Arts & Science has made excellent infrastructural facilities to promote and patronize games activities.Apart from the various playfield facilities mentioned above, the play ground also accommodates tracks for athletics. This affords ample scope for athletes to tame and train themselves for encountering athletic sports. Indoor games are also available.
Fully equipped “Multi-gymnasium” functioning in the college for the students and staff members to utilize for building up their physique.
The Placement Cell trains the students for placement interviews and also conducts Campus Placement Melas in which several companies participate to choose the graduates suitable to their needs. The Placement Officer also makes the students to participate in off campus Placement Melas.
